Extra Subjects

Ashfield College offers external students the opportunity to study extra subjects at our Dundrum campus.

Studying an extra subject allows external students the opportunity to pursue a course of study not available in their school.  It also allows students to maximise their potential when it comes to CAO points.  Our extra subjects cover the entire syllabus in one year and are suitable for both 5th and 6th Year students looking to boost their performance in the Leaving Certificate.

Extra subjects are scheduled at 5.15 pm – 6.45 pm, twice weekly in order to accommodate school timetables.  Courses commence in September 2017 for Leaving Certificate exams in 2018 & 2019.  Our timetable is outlined below.  Business is currently delivered as a two-hour course once per week.

Our exclusive Ashfield College Study Manuals are included for registered students.  These manuals are written by our top teachers and presented to students at the start of each term.  this enables the students to follow a concise and exam focused programme throughout the academic year.

The teachers who deliver the extra subject programmes are the same exceptional teachers who deliver our day school programmes, they include Leaving Certificate examiners, published authors of text books, teacher trainers and subject specialists.  Our focused teaching team and attention to students needs is the reason that Ashfield College has been delivering Leaving Certificate success in South Dublin for more than 40 Years.

Fees 2017 -2018

The tuition fee is €1,400 and can be paid in two installments or €1,300 if paid upfront.  External students have the option to sit the Leaving Certificate exam at Ashfield College in June.

A deposit of €150 will secure a class place and the balance of fees or installment arrangements must be made prior to the date of commencement.  to pay a deposit call (01) 490-4050.
